<h3>Membrane proteins</h3>

The plasma membrane contains proteins that are embedded in the lipid bilayer. These perform several functions in the cell, such as:

  • Transport of substances
  • Enzymatic activities
  • and Communication between cells.

The amount of proteins and the types found in the membrane are related to the activity exerted by that cell.

The proteins present in the plasma membrane can be classified into two groups:

  • integral proteins
  • peripheral proteins.

Integral proteins are those that penetrate the phospholipid bilayer. Integral proteins capable of completely crossing the membrane are called transmembrane proteins. These may cross the membrane one or more times.

Peripheral proteins, in turn, are those that do not penetrate the plasma membrane, with only a weak connection to the membrane being observed. Because of this, peripheral proteins can be easily dissociated from the membrane.

With this information, we can conclude that integral proteins are responsible for the shape of the cell membrane, they are embedded in the lipid bilayer.

There are several types of changes that could happen. If one of the letters of DNA were to be changed to a differnt letter, this might result in a differnt amino acid being put into the protein being synthesized. There are many many ways that a DNA mutation can affect mRNA, do you need anything more specific?<span>Its very simple,mRNA is kinda messenger which takes information from genetic material(DNA) which will later get translated to functional protein.The information in genetic material is in the shape of sequence of nucleotides pairs.there are four kinda nucleotides 1.adenine,2.guanine3.cytosine4.thiamine.... nucleotides lare kinda codes which get imprinted on mRNA , where thiamine is exception coz it get transcribed to uracil.
,since mRNA does contain thiamine but it has a replacement known as uracil.So its very simple if there will be any change in nucleotide the information given to mRNA will also change .So u see sudden change in nucleotides will mean that information send to mRNA will get changed.other things getting affected would be protein.</span><span>.As mRNA will later translate this information to make proteins from amino acids</span>

A reef is a ridge of a rock of any type of land that extends some distance just under the surface of the water. A coral reef is a lot of calcium carbonate that is also made up of living creatures. A coral reef is created when a small amount of dead coral turns into calcium carbonate. This process is very slow. The famous reefs are the Great barrier Reef of Austria and Belize and Cayman Islands.
Wave actions are usually not a problem due to hard coral reefs. The reef reduces a wave energy. But sometimes waves can break off or flatten large portions of coral reefs, forming grooves in once circular reef. The higher areas between the grooves are known as buttresses and may grow together at the top producing arches.
