by maintaining good personal hygiene, you can be confident around others, and be aware that you're clean, making a huge positive impact on your mental and emotional health; if you don't maintain good personal hygiene, others will most likely try to avoid you, and even embarrass and humiliate you (in front of others, as well), making a very negative impact on your mental and emotional health.
