Open this video of a boy sliding e across the ice. The screen shows a data table, a position against time graph, and a velocity

against time graph. The symbols used are t for time, x for position, Vx for velocity, and ay for acceleration. Click the play button, and watch the video. Then study the position against time graph. What is the change in the motion of the boy? How do you know? Is the acceleration of the boy positive or negative?

Answer:

Probably late but the change in motion of the man is in his speed, I know because every 0.2 seconds, he was gaining more distance as he was the previous 0.2 seconds. His acceleration positive because he was speeding up.

The hypotenuse and a leg of a particular right triangle are $\sqrt{97}$ inches and 4 inches, respectively. The area of this tria
lozanna [386]

Answer: 1/8

Step-by-step explanation:

Hypotenuse = √97

One leg = 4

By Pythagoras theorem, second leg² = (√97)² - 4²

= 97 - 16 = 81

So second leg = 9

Area of triangle = 4 x 9 / 2 = 18 sq inch

One sq foot = 144 sq inch

So required fraction = 18/144 = 1/8

Classify the object with the given side lengths as acute, obtuse, right, or not a triangle.
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

We have to first see that the given lengths makes a triangle or not by using a+b > c in which a,b and c are

length of sides of a triangle lets check out

16 + 21 = 37 > 28

21 + 28 = 49 > 16

16+ 28 = 44 > 21

As because the statement fits correct in the lengths given so its a triangle

So we can say that the triangle is scalene by means of measurements

but cant be a right angle as by taking the pythagorean triplet

= a^2 + b ^ 2 = c^2

lets see if a=16, b = 21 and c = 28

So a^2 + b^2

= 256 + 441

= 697

but c^2

= 28^2 = 784

As 441 =/= 784

So The triangle lengths cant be a right angled triangle

So 1/2 of possibility is the traingle acute and 1/2 of the possibilty that the triangle is obtuse

Now you can find the correct triangle on the basis of acute or obtuse angle by drawing with given length of sides of triangle

Hope it helps
