Maurinko [17]

Answer:

I think it 25/36.

Step-by-step explanation:

The total amount of flour is 4/9 + 1/4. The common denominator of 9 and 4 is 36.

So 4/9 + 1/4 = 16/36 + 9/36 = 25/36

How do I know if it's a function or not?
Effectus [21]
In plain and short, a function has no x-coordinate Repeats, if there's an x-coordinate Repeat, then is not a function.

What is a function machine in math? Thank you.
tamaranim1 [39]
I think it is a fancy term for a function such as f(x)=x+9 or f(x)=x^93+x^x+4/x+4x/2
it is a  machine because it takes in something and spits something out
a function is for every input (x) there is one output so you put a term in the x after the f and sbustitue the number for every x you see so
f(x)=x+9
so if you have f(3) thhen that equals f(3)=3+9=12

A square has a perimeter of 12 yd. What is the length of each side?
Lena [83]

Answer:

  • Length of side of square is 3 yd.

~

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the side of square be 's'. We know that Perimeter of square is <u>4 ×</u> <u>Side</u>.<em> </em>By substituting values in the formula we can find the required side.

~

:\implies \sf 4 × s=Perimeter \: of \: square

~

:\implies \sf \: \: \: 4 × s = 12

~

:\implies \sf \:  \:  \:  s =  \dfrac{12}{4}

~

:\implies \bf \: \: \: Side = 3 yd.

~

\therefore \: Length of side of square is <u>3</u><u> </u><u>yd</u>.
