Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa.

Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is said to be a painting of mystery. When looking at the Mona Lisa, one cannot tell if she is smiling or frowning. While some may say that she is smiling with her pale pink lips, others say that she is frowning. She has her arms crossed, with her hands touch barely, with small ruffles on her arms. It is said that her brown eyes follow you around the room, no matter where you are standing. Half of her hair is straight, while on the side facing away from the viewer, her hair is wavy, which is noticed on the top. Her cheeks slightly protrude from her chin just a bit, showing that she may be of a bit older age. She has a majestic blanket or throw draped over her shoulder, which has embroidery on it, covering her pale skin. It has been said that this Mona Lisa could be a lover of Da Vinci's, perhaps the one he gave his ear to, or his mother at a young age. But it could have also been a random woman, but that mystery will remain unsolved
