(1) Using Native American imagery as a mascot is not racist. Using Native American imagery is us owning our history.  It is us being proud of who we came from.

(2)Giving raises has nothing to do with a teacher being capable. A teacher is capable if they have the correct education and know-how to do their job. Giving teachers a raise will help them with picking teaching as a profession but not making them capable

(3) Yes there will always be a mean person in school but that doesn't mean there isn’t anything administrators can do about it. In school there are children and children can be corrected and taught meaning that a bully can be punished and taught to be nice by an administrator.

(4)Sam Smith and his brother are two different people. Sam Smith is not responsible for his brother's actions. It is unfair to judge Sam based on his brother's actions that he had nothing to do with.

(5) Everyone is entitled to an education. Not everyone has the money to pay for a university. Junior college is a great, cheap, way to get that education that everyone deserves.
