First, you keep your first fraction. You switch the division sign to multiplication, and always do the reciprocal (flip it around) of the second fraction. So instead of 1/2, it would be 2/1. Then multiply. 2/5 x 2/1. 2x2 is 4, 5x1 is 5. 4- numerator/5-denominator. Your answer is 4/5.
