First, see how much money you have:

10 + 3(5) + 8(1) + 12(0.25) + 5(0.1) + 10(0.05) =

10 + 15 + 8 + 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 =

37

You need to deposit $7 into the safe, since 37 - 7 = 30.

HI THERE!

so if you add the money up together you have 37 dollars, your goal is to have 30 in the bank right? so if you deposit 7 in the bank then you would have 30 we know this because of 37-7=30 :)

From the equation, we have

h=-20, k =21 , a^2=20^2, b^2=21^2

To find the vertex and focus, we have to use the following formula

Vertices =(h, k+-a) \\ Focii = (h,k+-c)

And

c = \sqrt{a^2 + b^2} = \sqrt{400+441} = 29

So, we have

Vertices=(-21,20+-20) \\ Focii=(-21, 20+-29)

Vertices =(-21,0),(-21,40) \\ focii=(-21,-9),(-21,49)

Larry paid $35.11 for 3 books. One book cost $19.51. The second book cost $3.87. How much did the third book cost?
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

$11.73

Step-by-step explanation:

Three books cost $35.11

The first book cost $19.51

The second book cost $3.81

The two books cost $19.51+$3.81 =$23.38

The third book would therefore cost $35.11-$23.38 = $11.73

The third book cost $11.73
