Lot of Venezuelans are risking their lives through making dangerous trips through sea to Trinidad because they want to escape from the country. The reasons for this is that the country is run by a dictator and the military that protects him and gives him the power. The people are oppressed and limited in their choices and opportunities. Also, the country has experienced the biggest inflation the world has ever seen, leading to lot of problems of all sorts in the country. There are also lot of tensions and conflicts, with the civilians usually being the ones that suffer the most. All of these things are push factors for the people of Venezuela to move to other places, even if it means risking their lives.
