via food and water.

This is a disease caused by the bacteria known as <u>Salmonella</u>  <u>typhi</u> .  They

are usually found in contaminated food and water which when given to

organisms they start exhibiting some symptoms such as:

  • Weakness
  • Diarrhea
  • Stomach pain etc.

This disease can be prevented by maintaining a clean hygiene and cured

through antibiotics as it causes death if left untreated.

with feces or urine containing <em>Salmonella gallinarum</em>.  Most of the time, to avoid contamination of the entire herd, the animals are sacrificed.

The prevention of the disease is very important, considering that the condition leads to the sacrifice of birds. Avoid acquiring birds contaminated with the disease, and disinfecting the place where the birds live is one of the ways found for prevention.

With this information, we came to the conclusion that the type of contamination of typhoid fever on poultry happens by contaminated water and food.

Typhoid fever on poultry causes great economic losses, and understanding how contamination occurs is of paramount importance for this prevention.
