You should omit reduce your velocity on the freeway, instead you should wait until you are in the deceleration path. Once there, you should gradually reach the speed allowed in the exit ramp. If you miss it, the most prudent thing to do is <em>use the next exit (option D)</em>, you should never turn around or back up.
