Answer:

Correlation coefficient = 0.945 ( approx) and weight of a student increases as the height of the student increases.

Step-by-step equation:

Here, value of x are 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 64, 66, 68, 70

Value of y are, 122, 128, 126, 133, 145, 136, 144, 150, 151.

∑x = 570, ∑y= 1236, ∑ = 36234, ∑ = 170694

∑xy=78617

Thus the correlation coefficient,

Where n is the number of the term.

here n = 9

thus, correlation coefficient

r =

Thus, r= 0.94452987512

Which is closed to 0.95 and greater than 1

Therefore, weight of a student increases as the height of the student increases.

Answer:

1) 2<x<10 (the first choice)

2) 17<x<40 (the first choice)

3) x<-1 or x>2 (the second choice)

Step-by-step explanation:

1) 2<x<10...this is another way of representing x<10 and x>2 in an "and" inequality. If you look at 2<x<10 from left to right, it says 2 is less than x and x is less than 10.

2) 17<x<40...this represents x>17 and x<40 in an "and" inequality as well. If you look at 17<x<40, it reads 17 is less than or equal to x and x is less than 40.

3) x<-1 or x>2...the signs are greater than or equal to because the dots are closed on the number line. Also, this is not an "and" inequality. This is actually an "or" inequality. You can mainly tell because the lines are shaded opposite ways and do not intersect.

I hope this helped!! Good luck on your assignment and have a wonderful day :3

can someone help me anyone please Giselle works as a carpenter and as a blacksmith. She earns \$20$20dollar sign, 20 per hour as
Artemon [7]
Let she work for x hours as carpenter !
so earned money = 20x

and for blacksmith she must work for 30-x hours

so earned money = (30-x) ×25

so putting in eqn;

20x+25(30-x) = 690
so, x= 60/5 = 12

so she works for carpenter for 12 hrs and 30-12= 18 hrs for blacksmith
