Solution: y=2x-11

Step by step solution:
f(x)=(x+1)2-7
f(x)=2x+2-7
f(x)=2x-5
y=2x-5
When it’s translated 3 to the right the y intercept is 3 less if the slope is 1, but since the slope is 2 there the difference is 6, so the y intercept is 6 less than it was before
y=2x-11

What is the sum?
gavmur [86]

Answer:

The answer is option D.

Step-by-step explanation:

First we must first find the LCM

the LCM of x² - 9 and x + 3 is x² - 9

So we have

\frac{3}{ {x}^{2} - 9 }  +  \frac{5}{x + 3}  =   \frac{3 + 5(x - 3)}{ {x}^{2}  - 9}  \\  \\  =  \frac{3 + 5x - 15}{(x + 3)(x - 3)}    \\  \\  = \frac{5x - 12}{(x +  3)(x - 3)}

Hope this helps you

How many six digit even numbers are possible if the leftmost digit cannot be zero
Schach [20]

1st digit cannot be 0 so there are 9 choices {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}. The middle 4 digits have 10 choices (can have 0). The last digit must be EVEN or 0 to make the entire 6 digit number even, {0,2,4,6,8} = 5 choices

9×10×10×10×10×5 = 450,000
