We need to be able to recount our daily lives in order for the future generations to be able to know what it was like. They can then look back upon our recounts and see what we had to deal with. And the good things like: celebrating birthdays, hanging out with friends, following our hobbies and dreams, and being able to choose what religion we are part of.
