this is about a hunter named rainsford and he is in a shipwreck. he ends up on a island and he meets a general from the soviet union. he eats dinner with the general. he finds out that the general likes hunting similar to him. the general started to find hunting boring so he created a new animal to hunt, humans. rainsford is disgusted but the general forces him to play. however at the end of the story rainsfor tricks the general and kills him and gets of the island.
