HELPPPP!!! A high school student gives a speech to the entire student body. In the speech, he uses vulgar language and insults.

The principal cuts the speech short and suspends the student for a week. The student files a case against the school, claiming that his First Amendment rights had been violated.
In your opinion, were the student’s First Amendment rights violated? If so, how so? If not, why not? Write a paragraph explaining your position. Justify your response with evidence from this tutorial and/or outside research.

Answer:

the student’s First Amendment rights violated yes bc the first amendment is freedom of speech....it doesn't have to be nice.... it says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." it says nowhere in there that the freedom of speech had to be nice.

Answer:

Explanation:

yes, his first amendment rights WERE violated, but for good reason. he was insulting everybody in the room. he deserved the punishment he got for speaking so harshly in front of the entire student body and principals. While his rights were violated, he should not win this case against the school as they did the right thing.

The English Bill of Rights limited the power of ______________ and gave framers of the constitution the idea of ________________
vfiekz [6]

Based on the historical account, the English Bill of Rights limited the power of "King William & Queen Mary" and gave framers of the constitution the idea of "limited government."

This is evident in the fact that when the English Bill of Rights was made, it was King William III and Queen Mary II that signed the document into law.

On the other hand, the framers of the United States Constitution were influenced by the English Bill of Rights.

They believed that the Bill of Rights would limit the federal government's power and protect the rights of citizens and the States.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the English Bill of Rights greatly impacted the United States constitution formation.

tatyana61 [14]

he difference between growth and development depends on the context, the jargon in which the terms are being used. ... In biological systems, growth indicates a quantifiable change in size, whereas development indicates a transformation of structure. So a small caterpillar eats lots of leaves and grows large.in life both are neede and are very useful like learning and earning

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you did not attach the whole text of reference. So we do not know the kind of text and who the author is. Without that information, we cannot include the supporting details of the text.

However, we can comment on the Battle of Athens, if this can be of any help.

Just by reading the parragraph in the screenshot you attached, we can say that the author is very descriptive in his narrative and uses mane figures of language such as metaphors.

The Battle of Athens was fought in August 1946, as part of a rebellion of the people from the towns Etowah and Athens in the state of Tennessee. The causes of this rebellion were police brutality, corruption in the police department, and interference with the local elections.

Anthropologists have found that the incest taboo is a cultural universal, though the relations classified as incest vary across
omeli [17]

The incest taboo is a universal rule, that is, it is present in all human societies for which there is an ethnographic record. It consists in prohibiting the occurrence of sexual and marital relations between close relatives, as occurs between parents and children and siblings. Its existence would not have resulted from genetic problems, as many imagine, but, above all, from socio-cultural issues, such as the need for social relations guided by reciprocity and alliance between families. If it were a prohibitive rule determined biologically, there would certainly be a taboo of incest among non-human primates, felines, canids, cattle, etc. Therefore, kinship is a relationship constructed socially and culturally, as it happens, just to exemplify, between parents and adopted children.

The recognition and classification of relatives varies from one society to another and there are the most complex rules on incest. An example of this is society the father's brother is called the uncle, the paternal uncle. In certain indigenous societies he is also considered a father and, therefore, his children are brothers (not cousins) of his brother's children. In such cases, the recognition of who is a brother implies knowing with which relatives it is forbidden to have sexual and marital relations. There is, however, the registration of marriage between brothers in ancient Egyptian royalty and among the Incas, among others, but they are exceptions to the rule.
