Why would leaders in Iran want to limit American cultural infusion?
eimsori [14]
Iranian leaders do not like American culture with its excess and what would be considered loose morals in that part of the world. Many Americans drink alcohol, which is not acceptable in Iranian society. Women dress immodestly, tattoos and piercings are acceptable in most of America, and sexual relations are less restricted. Americans tend to spend excessively, which would be difficult for a poor country like Iran. America's religion is very different from Iranian religion.
