Percentage is the way to represent the part of a whole in a fraction of 100.The greatest percent of the increase in the number of jobs from 2006 to 2016 is orthodontist which is 10.94 percent.

<h3>Given-</h3>

In the given table we have to find out the percent of the increase in the number of each job to find out the greatest one.

<h3>Percentage</h3>

Percentage is the way to represent the part of a whole in a fraction of 100.

1-Orthodontist-

In 2006 the total number of orthodontists was 9206.

In 2016 the total number of orthodontists was 10214

Percent of increase in this job is,

p_{1} =\dfrac{10214-9206}{9206}\times100

p_{1} =10.94%

Hence, percent of the increase in this job is 10.94 present.

2-Sound engineer technician-

In 2006 the total number of Sound engineer technicians was 16125

In 2016 the total number of Sound engineer technicians was 17864

Percent of increase in this job is,

p_{2} =\dfrac{17864-16125}{16125}\times100

p_{2} =10.78%

Hence, percent of the increase in this job is 10.78 percent.

3-Police officer-

In 2006 the total number of Police officers was 648982

In 2016 the total number of Police officers was 719041

Percent of increase in this job is,

p_{3} =\dfrac{719041-648982}{648982}\times100

p_{3} =10.79%

Hence, percent of the increase in this job is 10.79 percent.

4- Editor-

In 2006 the total number of Editors was 122273

In 2016 the total number of Editors was 124135

Percent of increase in this job is,

p_{2} =\dfrac{124135-122273}{122273}\times100

p_{4} =1.52%

Hence, percent of the increase in this job is 1.52 percent.

Hence, the greatest percent of the increase in the number of jobs from 2006 to 2016 is orthodontist which is 10.94 percent.

Solving fp<br> Algebra 2<br> I do not understand how to solve this, could someone please explain?
Olenka [21]

f(x) =  \sqrt{x + 2}
What's The Fixed Point? Well, Let's Assume X=0, this is our point.

f(0) =  \sqrt{0 + 2}  \\ f(0) =  \sqrt{2}  \\ this \: is \: our \: fixed \: point \:  \\ (0, \sqrt{2} )
OR

f(p) =  \sqrt{p + 2}  \\  \\  or \:  \sqrt{x + 2}  = 0 \\ ( \sqrt{x + 2} ) ^{2}  =  {0}^{2}  \\ x + 2 = 0 \\ x  =  - 2
I'm unaware of the nature of the question, so here are some different ways a fixed point is found based on the merits of the question.

Factor x2+4x+3.
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

c. (x +3)(x + 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Factoring an equation is a way of expressing an equation as the product of other linear expressions. The following expression,

x^2 +4x +3

Can be represented as the product of the following,

(x+3)(x+1)

To check this, one can distribute, one of the expressions over the other, then simplify, the result should be the starting expression,

(x+3)(x+1)\\

Distribute,

(x)(x)+(1)(x)+(3)(x)+(3)(1)

Simplify,

x^2 +x +3x + 3\\

x^2 +4x +3

What type of endorsement is illustrated by the following example:
Bezzdna [24]
When receiving a check from someone, you'll see that there are lines on the back. Those lines are for the check to be endorsed so you can cash it or deposit your money. Most of the time you'll just sign the back to endorse it and put it in your account or get money in return. However, there are special cases that can show where the money should go. Here are different types of endorsements:

1. Blank endorsements have just your signature on the back. Anyone can cash or deposit a check with this endorsement.

2. Restrictive endorsements have "For Deposit Only" on the first line, then your signature below that. This type of check can only be deposited, not to be cashed for money.

3. Special endorsements are for giving your check to another person. This check can only be deposited or cashed by the person designated on the back. For this endorsement, you would write "Pay to the order of" and then the person's name you want to give the check to. You would then sign your name underneath that.

As seen in your question, Isis Love is signing it as a special endorsement<em />. She is giving her check to Mike Lopez so his name follows "Pay to the order of". The numbers at the bottom would represent the bank account number.

Solve for x. Assume that lines which appear to be diameters are actually diameters
Dafna1 [17]

Answer: number 7. 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplifying

7X + 1 + -5X = 15

Reorder the terms:

1 + 7X + -5X = 15

Combine like terms: 7X + -5X = 2X

1 + 2X = 15

Solving

1 + 2X = 15

Solving for variable 'X'.

Move all terms containing X to the left, all other terms to the right.

Add '-1' to each side of the equation.

1 + -1 + 2X = 15 + -1

Combine like terms: 1 + -1 = 0

0 + 2X = 15 + -1

2X = 15 + -1

Combine like terms: 15 + -1 = 14

2X = 14

Divide each side by '2'.

X = 7

Simplifying

X = 7
