In The Parable of the Prodigal Son, the elder son says he never transgressed. That means that he did not break laws or commandments, that he didn't go beyond any laws.

 To<em> transgress</em> means <em>to break a law or moral rule.</em> In this case of the Parable of the Prodigal son, the elder son, by saying he <em>never transgressed</em>, is comparing his behaviour to his younger brother's, who had left his father and his responsabilities, living a life that didn't respect <em>God's commandments nor any moral rule.</em>
