Answer:

A village loses 14% of its goats in a flood

6% of the remainder die from dieseses

The 80%(100-14-6) goats are left in.

But, given that 8084 goats are left .

Let, x be the original number of goats in the village.

hence,

80% - 8084

100% - x

\sf{x = \frac{8084 \times 100}{80} =10105  }

•°•The original number of goats in the village is 10105.

hope it helps :)

Answer:

The original number of goats in the village is 6467.

Step-by-step explanation:

First Sum of the given percentage

i.e.,

14% + 6% = 20%

Now, The 20% of the given no. of goat is,

8084 × 20/100 = 1616

Now,

8084 - 1616 = 6467

Thus, The original number of goats in the village is 6467.

A cook has 11 7/8 cups of flour. He uses 2/3 of his flour on Saturday morning. Estimate how many cups he used. Show how you esti
ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

11 (if you wanna know how many cups [which i mean by 2/3] it is 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, to start, a cook has 11 7/8 cups of flour, right? Well, if you subtract 11 7/8 by 2/3 you get 11 5/24. As an estimate, you would get just plain 11 because there is three numbers when you estimate, 11, 11 1/2, or 12. 11 5/24 is more closer to 11 (because 1/2 would be 11 12/24, and 12 would be 11 13/24 or more until 12)

Hope it helped...
