Somebody already answered it but if you wanted to expand the equation then you could add another variable such as p for points and say T= 9p-z

T=90-Z

Because 9 solved correctly*10 points per question answered correctly=90 and each incorrect question is a point lost

For the answer to the question above asking how many days does one bag of rabbit food last if Eryn's pet rabbit eats 1/12 pound of food every day. If Eryn buys rabbit food in 5 pounds bags?

First convert 1/12 to whole number
which is 0.83

then divide 5 by 0.83
finally, you'll get the answer 6.02 days or the bag of rabbit food will last 6 days.

The measures of two sides of a triangle are 7.3 centimeters and 2.94 centimeters. The triangle's perimeter is 14.8 centimeters.
evablogger [386]
The perimeter is the sum of all lengths of the side of a polygon. For a triangle it is expressed as:

P = a + b + c

We let a = 7.3, b = 2.94 and c=x

Therefore, the perimeter of the given triangle is:

14.8 = 7.3 + 2.94 + x

From the options given, the correct answer is the last option. The expression, x - 14.8 = 2.94 + 7.3, will give an erroneous value of the third side. It will be more than the perimeter given.
