Because so much had been destroyed during the war, many European countries were heavily in debt to the United States and could not afford to rebuild. There were shortages of food and raw materials; thousands of refugees were still homeless. Due to these difficulties, there were almost no jobs and unemployment was high.

KatRina [158]

Answer:

This is because of isostatic adjustment.

Explanation:

The mountains of the Himalayas keep growing because of the isostatic adjustment. it allows for a gravitational balance in the Himalayan mountain region, which causes tectonic plates to float below these mountains. This fluctuation occurs in the densest part of the asthenosphere. This density, together with the force of gravity, causes an increase in the height of the tectonic plate that sinks more and more. As the tectonic plate sinks, inversely, this plate rises, when its weight decreases, and it is this rise that causes the mountain to grow.

Which of the following are pollutants? a. soot b. CFCs c.Fossil fuel emissions d. sewage
Stolb23 [73]
I would have to go with Sewage mostly because it smells and because it can really hurt the environment. Plants can die and it just is gross to smell. So this would definitely pollute the earth. I hope this helped! :D
