Answer:

You can do this by copying, pasting, and using the Transpose option. But doing that creates duplicated data. If you don't want that, you can type a formula instead using the TRANSPOSE function. For example, in the following picture the formula =TRANSPOSE(A1:B4) takes the cells A1 through B4 and arranges them horizontally.

Step 1: Select blank cells

First select some blank cells. But make sure to select the same number of cells as the original set of cells, but in the other direction. For example, there are 8 cells here that are arranged vertically:

Cells in A1:B4

So, we need to select eight horizontal cells, like this:

Cells A6:D7 selected

This is where the new, transposed cells will end up.

Step 2: Type =TRANSPOSE(

With those blank cells still selected, type: =TRANSPOSE(

Excel will look similar to this:

=TRANSPOSE(

Notice that the eight cells are still selected even though we have started typing a formula.

Step 3: Type the range of the original cells.

Now type the range of the cells you want to transpose. In this example, we want to transpose cells from A1 to B4. So the formula for this example would be: =TRANSPOSE(A1:B4) -- but don't press ENTER yet! Just stop typing, and go to the next step.

Excel will look similar to this:

=TRANSPOSE(A1:B4)

Step 4: Finally, press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

Now press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER. Why? Because the TRANSPOSE function is only used in array formulas, and that's how you finish an array formula. An array formula, in short, is a formula that gets applied to more than one cell. Because you selected more than one cell in step 1 (you did, didn't you?), the formula will get applied to more than one cell. Here's the result after pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER:

Josiah emptied his piggy bank and discovered he had 35 coins consisting of dimes and nickels. If the total amount of money he ha
anastassius [24]

Answer:

d+n=35\\0.10d+0.05n=3.30

Explanation:

Multiple Choices aren't given, so I will just solve this.

Josiah had "d" dimes and "n" nickels.

There are a total of 35 coins, nickels and dimes.

The value of "d" dimes and "n" nickels is $3.30

Note: Value of nickels is 0.05 and dimes is 0.10 (in dollars)

The system of equations (2) we can use to solve this will be:

1) an equation involving total number of coins

2) an equation stating the value of each coin and total value

Equation 1:

d + n = 35

Equation 2:

0.10d+0.05n=3.30

These are the 2 equations that can be solved simulataneously to find the number of nickels and dimes.

Some economists suspect that one of the reasons that economies in developing countries grow so slowly is that they do not have w
kramer

This argument makes sense as some economists suspect that one of the reasons that economies in developing countries grow so slowly is that they don't have well-developed financial markets.

Why do economies in developing countries grow slowly?

The financial market is crucial for facilitating the flow of funds from individuals to investors to promote economic efficiency. It is exceedingly expensive and challenging to establish efficient financial markets in underdeveloped markets in emerging countries, which hurts economic growth.

What causes a country to grow faster than another country?
The labor force in nations having access to new technology and/or a wealth of research and development is frequently more productive than in nations without such access. Economic growth accelerates as productivity rises.

Q² = 2DS / H[1-(d/p)]

S = (Q²)(H)[1 - (d/p) / 2D

Setup cost S = (200^2)*(10)*(1 - (100/800)) / 2*30,500

Setup cost S = 40000*10*0.875 / 61000

Setup cost S = 350000 / 61000
