Answer:

y=3x

Step-by-step explanation:

To put this in slope intercept form, let’s first find the slope

To find slope, use the equation Y2-Y1/X2-X1

When we do this, we get 0-6/0-2

This simplifies out into -6/-2 which is 3

So our slope is 3. Our equation becomes y=3x+b

Now, we find our b

We don’t have to do any solving for this, since we have the point 0,0 listed for us, it goes through the origin and that is our y-intercept or b

So our final equation is y=3x

Hope this helps and have a good day!

D=rt for r<br> solve for the specified variable
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

r=d/t

Step-by-step explanation:

d=rt

we are to make r the subject of the formula, so we remove t from the rhs.

we do this by dividing both sides by t

d divided by t= d/t and rt divided by t = r

therefore d/t =rt/t

= r=d/t

compute the projection of → a onto → b and the vector component of → a orthogonal to → b . give exact answers.
Nina [5.8K]

\text { Saclar projection } \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} \text { and Vector projection } \frac{1}{3}(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k})

We have been given two vectors $\vec{a}$ and $\vec{b}$, we are to find out the scalar and vector projection of $\vec{b}$ onto $\vec{a}$

we have $\vec{a}=\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k}$ and $\vec{b}=\hat{i}-\hat{j}+\hat{k}$

The scalar projection of$\vec{b}$onto $\vec{a}$means the magnitude of the resolved component of $\vec{b}$ the direction of $\vec{a}$ and is given by

The scalar projection of $\vec{b}$onto

$\vec{a}=\frac{\vec{b} \cdot \vec{a}}{|\vec{a}|}$

$$\begin{aligned}&=\frac{(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k}) \cdot(\hat{i}-\hat{j}+\hat{k})}{\sqrt{1^2+1^1+1^2}} \\&=\frac{1^2-1^2+1^2}{\sqrt{3}}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}\end{aligned}$$

The Vector projection of $\vec{b}$ onto $\vec{a}$ means the resolved component of $\vec{b}$ in the direction of $\vec{a}$ and is given by

The vector projection of $\vec{b}$ onto

$\vec{a}=\frac{\vec{b} \cdot \vec{a}}{|\vec{a}|^2} \cdot(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k})$

$$\begin{aligned}&=\frac{(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k}) \cdot(\hat{i}-\hat{j}+\hat{k})}{\left(\sqrt{1^2+1^1+1^2}\right)^2} \cdot(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k}) \\&=\frac{1^2-1^2+1^2}{3} \cdot(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k})=\frac{1}{3}(\hat{i}+\hat{j}+\hat{k})\end{aligned}$$

So to solve it the equation is a squared plus b squared = c squared. So you square a and b. Then do the square root of that and should get c. C is always the largest side. C is opposite from a 90 degree angle . Hope this helps you answer your question.
