The correct answer is B.

The goal of the Great Leap Forward program was to change Chinese society from an agrarian economy (one based on producing crops and maintaining farmland) to one that revolves around industrialization. Along with this, the agricultural production of China would be of a more collective mindset, meaning everyone would pull their resources together and then the Chinese government would use these resources accordingly. Even though this was supposed to help Chinese society, it actually lead to a famine in China.

How would you judge Samuel Slater and Francis Lowell, who brought secrets to the United States illegally?
Harlamova29_29 [7]
Well they both helped to modernize/industrialize the U.S, so it depends which view point you would like to take. They stole the plans from england, who had successfully monopolized industrialization for almost a century, who would be upset at this loss of control and therefore business. However an American would probably be thankful for the industry that blossomed as a result of these actions.

Why would the Sabbath(rest day) be a benefit of an agricultural society consisting of servants and slaves?
hjlf

Answer:

Explanation:

Sabbath is the seventh and sacred day of the week according to Hebrew and Shemitah tradition. That day was reserved for rest and worship only. The fact that agricultural societies -such as ancient Egypt- had adopted this kind of tradition was beneficial to remove the lordship and rule of man over the slaves.
