The nurses are wrong because first of all brown is a dominant eye color while blur is the recessive one. So the blue-eyed baby has to belong with the couple who both have blue eyes, while the brown-eyed baby has to belong to the couple that one parent has blue eyes and the other has brown eyes.

13. Dihybrid Cross
Ksju [112]

Answer:

There is 56 percent chance that the offspring will be red and tall

Explanation:

A punnet square can be described as a diagram which is used to check the outcomes of a cross.  A monohybrid cross is a cross in which a single trait is studied. A dihybrid cross is a cross in which two traits are studied and the results of an offspring having two traits are predicted.

As we see, red is dominant over white and tall is dominant over short, the results of the punnet square show that there is a 56% chance for red and tall offsprings.

9 divided by 16 and multiplied by 100 gives 56.2.

goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

C. primary cell wall → plasma membrane → cytoplasm → vacuole.

Explanation:

Every molecule or particle which enters into a cell, it must pass through several cellular structure at different level means it also depends on the type of molecule like size, shape, and nature (characteristics). On the surface of root cell, potassium ion pass through the primary cell wall which is most outer layer of plant cell, then it passes the second layer called plasma membrane, in the plasma membrane cytoplasm is present and when potassium ion reaches the cytoplasm then it will enter into the vacuole present in cytoplasm.
