Genetic screening can curb a lot of genetic defects in a population.

Explanation:

A genetic defect in an individual starts from the time the person is in mother’s womb. So, these diseases can be curbed if the person goes through a genetic screening during this time. Any genetic defected womb can be abhorred and thus how we can decrease the number of this disease.

A person with Down’s syndrome doesn’t survive for long, or doesn’t lead a healthy life. So aborting these child isn’t actually bad. Thus we can delete the chances of these babies by means of genetic screening by means of amniocentesis.

Intramembranous ossification begins with differentiation of ________ cells.
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

Intramembranous ossification begins with differentiation of mesenchymal cells.

Explanation:

Fibrous membranes are involved in the development of the bones. The process through which this occurs is termed as the intramembranous ossification.

The cells of the mesenchyma begin to split. These cells differentiate into specialized cells each performing different functions. The following bones are formed by the process of intramembranous ossification:

 • mandible
 • clavicle
