A. Its language is informal.

Informal language is best suited for communications to friends, self (such as journal entries), and family. Informal language can be used for almost anything other than professional (business/academic) settings. Because this letter is a thank you letter to her aunt and about a non-professional event (the gifting of a personal painting), informal language is certainly appropriate here.

This letter was very emotional, personal and non-formal. Memories of the past were brought up and no critiquing of the paintings as a professional would do. Different punctuation used to convey emotion since there is an emotional, familial connection as opposed to a professional connection.

6. In section 1, what does Mather mean by bewitching when he refers to the charges brought against Martha Carrier?
Verdich [7]

Answer:

He means that Carrier has cast a spell on people.

Explanation:

The word "bewitching" was used in the sense of "wearing a charm", so the author shows that Martha Carrier was accused of witchcraft because, according to her accusers, she had the ability to attract them, dominate them and exercise them a power that was evil, like a charm. These accusations were so powerful that they even had the ability to enchant Martha's inquisitors, making them look for more witnesses and until it was impossible to absorb her from the crime for which she was being tried.

This is about Black Lives Matter ! 5 sentences and I’ll give Brainly
frez [133]

Polices could decrease or increase BLM, This nonsense could,be decreased if policies would make it illegal, and against federal law, hence BLM protesters would be sent to prison for a few, months to years depending on the damage they've done to state properties. This could be increased if Policies continue to allow BLM to block the roads, burn buildings, Rob stores, etc. In my point of view...I think the goverment just allows this so they have something to watch while they sit on pure gold and silver watching our nation fall into flames while BLM supporters take over and hold a grudge for the past (slavery) Don't take offence to this, but if you do your what's known as a liberal. As this goes to anyone that reads this, we're all people, we're all humans, What's different? Our color? Our accents? Our style? So what.. we are All people Black Lives Matter and White Lives Matter Don't exist in my eyes because All Lives Matter. Its hard live in color When you just see black and white...

Note: Don't write all,of this directly, take notes out of it, and use resources from it. (This was all my personal thoughts)

Write 3-4 paragraphs over the prompt:

Is ingorance bliss?

I will mark brainlist
Korolek [52]

Answer:

Explanation:

The saying “Ignorance is bliss” originates in Thomas Gray’s poem “Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College” (1742). The quote goes: “Where ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise.” Face it: you were better off not knowing that, weren’t you? Generally speaking, ignorance is a detestable state of mind. The more knowledge you have, the better equipped you are to deal with life. But ignorance itself doesn’t equal stupidity. For instance, I view myself as someone who is smart enough to realize his huge capacity for stupidity. I know there are massive gaps in my cultural and general knowledge. I would define my intellectual state as, at times, unaware. But who am I kidding? In some areas of life, I’m just plain ignorant, even if not by choice.
