First of all We will need to find the area of the cube with side 2.5 inches...

\boxed{ \mathfrak {area \: of \: cube = side^{2} }}

  • Side is denoted by the variable a which is equal to 2.5 in our case

\sf \: area = 2.5 ^{2}

\tt \: area = 6.25 \:  {in}^{2}

Let us assume that 1 gram of sand covers 1 in², So the maximum amount of sand that could fit is 6.25 grams of sand...~

Use the drawing tool(s) to form the correct answer on the provided graph.
Dominik [7]

Answer:

  see below. The solution is the doubly-shaded area.

Step-by-step explanation:

Each boundary line will be dashed, because the "or equal to" case is <em>not included</em>. Each shaded area will be above the corresponding boundary line because the comparison symbol is y > .... That is, only y-values greater than (above) those in the boundary line are part of the solution.

Of course, the boundary lines are graphed in the usual way. Each crosses the y-axis at the value of the constant in its equation. Each has a slope (rise/run) that is the value of the x-coefficient in the equation.

Express each answer in simplified radical form. . 18√5−12√5=?
leonid [27]

Answer: Hello mate!

our equation is 18√5−12√5 and we want to simplify it.

Simplification is triyng to "eliminate" all the roots (if possible). In our equation we have a square root of 5, wich is a problem, but let's se wat we can do:

18√5−12√5

= (18 - 12)√5

= 6√5

and we can not simplify furthermore, because the √5 cant be simplifyed.
