1. 14-2= 12 (14 decreased by 2 is 12 which is more than 10) 14-2>10

2.j•13 < 32 ( 13•2 =26)

3. 3n+ 3 > 34 ( 3(11) + 3 = 33+3=36 )

Write the ratio as a fraction in the simplest form 25 to 45
svp [43]
25 to 45 can also be written as 25/45
Both numbers are divisible (can be divided by) 5
25 divided by 5 = 5
45 divided by 5 = 9

So 25/45 = 5/9

They are equivalent fractions because they’ve been divided by the same, shared number

Enter the coefficients of the fifth Taylor polynomial T5(x) for the function f(x) = x5−3x4+2x2+5x−2 based at b=1. T5(x)= + (x−1)
DENIUS [597]

Compute the necessary values/derivatives of f(x) at x=1:

f(1)=3

f'(1)=2

f''(1)=-12

f'''(1)=-12

f^{(4)}(1)=48

f^{(5)}(1)=120

Taylor's theorem then says we can "approximate" (in quotes because the Taylor polynomial for a polynomial is another, exact polynomial) f(x) at x=1 by

T_5(x)=\dfrac3{0!}+\dfrac2{1!}(x-1)-\dfrac{12}{2!}(x-1)^2-\dfrac{12}{3!}(x-1)^3+\dfrac{48}{4!}(x-1)^4+\dfrac{120}{5!}(x-1)^5

T_5(x)=3+2(x-1)-6(x-1)^2-2(x-1)^3+2(x-1)^4+(x-1)^5

###

Another way of doing this would be to solve for the coefficients a,b,c,d,e,g in

f(x)=a+b(x-1)+c(x-1)^2+d(x-1)^3+e(x-1)^4+g(x-1)^5

by expanding the right hand side and matching up terms with the same power of x.

Is Event B dependent or independent of Event A? A: A green ball is drawn from a box with five balls and placed next to the box.
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that events are as follows:

A: A green ball is drawn from a box with five balls and placed next to the box. B: A red ball is drawn next and placed next to the green one

i.e. drawings of balls are made without replacement

Suppose there are m green balls and n red balls, where m+n =5

Prob of drawing green ball =m/5

After I draw made remaining are n red balls and m-1 green balls

Prob of drawing red ball now =n/4

Prob for drawing one green and one red simultaneously = \frac{mC1*nC1}{5C2} \\= \frac{mn}{10}

Product of the two probabilities = \frac{m}{5} *\frac{n}{4} \\=\frac{mn}{20}

Joely's Tea Shop, a store that specializes in tea blends, has available 45 pounds of A grade tea and 70 pounds of B grade tea. T
prisoha [69]

Answer:

Hence, (75,40) is the maximum point and maximum profit is $192.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breakfast be x

And  let the lunch or afternoon be y

Inequalities will become

\frac{1}{3}x+\frac{1}{2}y\leq 45

\frac{2}{3}x+\frac{1}{2}y\leq 70

And objective function will be

Z=1.5x+2.0y

You can see the graph in the attachement

ABCD is the feasible region

Points of feasible region is (0,90) ,(0,0) ,(75,40) and(105,0)

We have to find Z by substituting the points of feasible region

At (0,90) we get

Z=1.5(0)+2(90)

Z=180

At (0,0)

Z=1.5(0)+2(0)

Z=0

At (75,40)

Z=1.5(75)+2(40)

Z=192.5

At (105,0)

Z=1.5(105)+2(0)

Z=157.5

The maximum number we are getting is 192.5 which is at (75,40)

Hence, (75,40) is the point of maximum
