If she gives 1/3 of her pennies to her older brother, she will have 2/3 x remaining

If Sally has 24 pennies remaining, then;

2/3x - 4/15x = 24

10x-4x/15 = 24

6x/15 = 24

6x = 15 * 24

x = 60

This means that she started with 60 pennies
