change 14 2/3 to and improper fraction

(14*3+2)/3 =44/3

he used 1/5 for work

44/3 * 1/5 = 44/15

                =2 14/15 gallons

he uses 6 gallons for errands

2 14/15 + 6 = 8 14 /15

8 14/15 gallons for work and errands

stiks02 [169]

Answer:

B. 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Given.:

m<4 = 2x°

m<5 = 4x°

Required:

Value of x

Solution:

<4 and <5 are angles in a straight line, therefore:

m<4 + m<5 = 180°

Substitute

2x + 4x = 180°

6x = 180°

x = 180/60

x = 30

Which equations are true for x = –2 and x = 2? Check all that apply.
Katyanochek1 [597]

Hi Brainiac

x² - 4 = 0

Add 4 to both sides

x² - 4 + 4 = 0 + 4

x² = 4

Now take the square root

x= +/-√4

x= 2 or x= -2

The answer is A

I hope that's help :)
