The total number of students = 280
 Sum of ages of children = 3238
 Let the number of children of ages 11 year old = x
 and the number of children of ages 12 year old = y
 Equation 1. x+y=280
 Equation 2. 11x + 12y = 3238
 From Equation1. y= 280-x
Now, put the value of Y in equation 2 which gives 11x+12(280-x) = 3238
from this, 11x + 3360-12x = 3238
x = 3360-3238
x = 122 = children of age 11 years.
 putting value of x in equation 1,
122+y = 280
y = 280-122
y =158 = children of age 12 years
 Answer. children of age 11 years =122

Answer is: there is 122 children eleven years old.
x - eleven years old children.
y - twelve years old children.
1) x+y = 280, x = 280 - y
2) 11x+12y = 3238.
put x from 1) equation into 2):
11·(280-y) + 12y = 3238.
3080 - 11y + 12y = 3238.
y = 158.
x = 280 - 158 = 122.

If a finance lease contains a bargain purchase option, the lessee should amortize the leased asset: Multiple Choice Over the ter
Finger [1]

Answer:

Over the economic life of the asset.

Explanation:

An asset obtained under a financial lease must be depreciated in the same way as the company would depreciate any other similar fixed asset. E.g. a leased truck should be depreciated similarly to other trucks owned by the company.

In a financial lease, the lessor amortizes the asset's value, while the lessee depreciates the assets as common fixed assets (a lessee doesn't amortize).

Identifying time lags Advocates of active policy face several obstacles when implementing discretionary fiscal or monetary polic
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer: d. Decision-making lag

Explanation:

When policy makers have identified that there is a problem that needs fixing but cannot seem to agree on the way forward, this is known as a Decision - Making Lag or simply the Decision Lag. It is one of the 3 specific inside Policy Lags and can be devastating due to the uncertainty of time it might take.

For instance, the economists suggesting dropping the federal funds rate by 0.25% might have the backing of one half of the Fed and the other Economists, the other half. Arguments could therefore go on for weeks before a decision is made.
