There are four chambers in the human heart. The right and left atrium are the upper two chambers. The right and left ventricles are the lower two chambers. The pulmonary vein transports oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium. The pulmonary arteries carry blood from the right side of the heart to the lungs. A pericardial sac surrounds the heart and is lined by the parietal layers of a serous membrane.

aleksandr82 [10.1K]

The correct answers are:

• Human bodies may contain pathogenic bacteria, but these are often kept in check by other (nonpathogenic) species.

Non-pathogenic species or normal flora are present in the different parts of human body such as oral mucosa, skin, seminal fluid, uterus, lungs, saliva.. Microbiota of normal flora are usually commensal (co-exist without harming effects on humans) whie some of them even have a mutualistic relationship with their human hosts (benefits for both) such as those hosted in the intestine.
