The Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution all had significance by establishing our current government, growing it from when we originally separated from Britain. We began with the Declaration of Independence by doing just that. Then we created the Articles of Confederation, roughing forming our government. From there our founding fathers created the Constitution, allotting powers given to citizens and states, along with giving a more structured form of the Articles of Confederation.
