Given :

Two points P_1(-2,3,2)\ and\ P_2(1,2,0) .

To Find :

The direction of P_1P_2 and midpoint of line segment P_1P_2 .

Solution :

Direction of P_1 and P_2 is given by :

\vec{D}=\dfrac{P_2-P_1}{|P_2-P_1|}\\\\\vec{D}=\dfrac{(-2i+3j+2k)-(i+2j+0)}{P_2-P_1}\\\\\vec{D}=\dfrac{-3i+j+2k}{\sqrt{3^2+1^2+2^2}}\\\\\vec{D}=\dfrac{-3i+j+2k}{\sqrt{14}}

Now , mid point is given by :

M(\dfrac{-2+1}{2},\dfrac{3+2}{2},\dfrac{2+0}{2})\\\\M(\dfrac{-1}{2},\dfrac{5}{2},1)

Hence , this is the required solution .

Find the equation of the line that does not have an equation written for it.

(4, -4) (0,-2)

m = (-2 + 4) / (0 - 4)

m = 2 / -4  = -1/2

y = -1/2x - 2

Let's now look at all of these different lines we have. For the two intersecting lines, we know that the bottom one must be greater than and the top must be less than. And because these are solid lines, they are greater/less than or equal to. For the dotted line, we know that x must be less than because the line is dotted and the shading is to the left.

y ≤ x - 2

x < 4

y ≥ -1/2x - 2

Hope this helps! :)

Angles a and b are supplementary how would you fix value of x
kotykmax [81]

Answer: 180 = 30 + (x + 60)

Step-by-step explanation: Supplementary means that the angles add together to 180 degrees. This equations shows that angle A (30 degrees) plus angle B (x + 60) equal 180. If you solve the equation you will find that angle B is equal to 150 degrees, and that x = 90.
