Answer:

Rise of Protestantism, Increase in power in England after splitting from the Catholic Church and unifying catholic church (Catholic reformation).

Explanation:

The Protestant Reformation began to emerge in Europe as a new church. Martin Luther broke the connection between the Catholic church and formed a new religion. Catholic church considered being powerful who controlled most of Europe. Luther nailed 95 theses in the Wittenberg Church, which led to the spread of Protestantism in Europe.

Henry VIII broke with Papacy and established the Church of England which began the reformation. He rejected the Roman Church when Rome was not willing to give a divorce because his first wife Catherine of Aragon was unable to provide him with a son. He decided to take the matter in his hand by splitting from Catholic. He also took over the lands and closed down several monasteries.

With the success of Protestant Reformation in the central and northern Europe, that converted many countries into Protestant. The Catholic church became conscious of its disintegration and took immediate action to internal reform itself.

nikklg [1K]

Answer:

The battle of Buxar in 1764 consolidated British rule in India. The East India Company had already gained  a significant strategic  foothold on the Indian  subcontinent . However the company  growing dominance  was challenged by  a number  of  Indian  states including  the Mughal  Empire . Up until  the battle of Buxar , the British  had relied on an  administrative strategy  that  involved  governing through puppet  rulers . This was the  risky  strategy  at  best , as  such  proxies  didnt always prove  particularly reliable  . Among the factors that led to World War II was Group of answer choices the aggressive foreign policy of the United States follow
matrenka [14]

Although there were many causes of World War II, much of the blame is traced to the failure of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War I. During the 1920's and 1930's, totalitarian states had established control under: Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in Germany; fascist leader Benito Mussolini in Italy; communist leader Joseph Stalin in the Soviet Union, and Emperor Hirohito in Japan. The inability of the League of Nations to deal with the aggressive acts of these nations, combined with the isolationism of the U.S., and the appeasement of Adolf Hitler eventually led to World War II. In the years following the rise of dictators in Europe, an ethnic cleansing of undesirables was carried out in Hitler's Final Solution.
