Based on the story of Siddhartha Gautama’s journey, what are the core tenets (beliefs) of Buddhism? You must use ALL of the word
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

The basic doctrines of early Buddhism, which remain common to all Buddhism, include the four noble truths: existence is suffering (dukhka); suffering has a cause, namely craving and attachment (trishna); there is a cessation of suffering, which is nirvana; and there is a path to the cessation of suffering, the eightfold path of right views, right resolve, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. Buddhism characteristically describes reality in terms of process and relation rather than entity or substance.

hypothesis

Explanation:

Hypothesis: The term hypothesis is defined as an explanation or idea that an experimenter test via experimentation or study. A hypothesis is denoted as something less than a well-established theory and more than a random guess. It helps a researcher to better understand the area of study and gives a specific direction to a particular study.

Types: Simple hypothesis, null hypothesis, complex hypothesis, and logical hypothesis.

In the question above, Dr. Birk's prediction regarding students' self-perceptions is an example of a hypothesis.

The United Nations has acknowledged the existence of 192 nation-states as of 2006. If the United Nations were to acknowledge nat
Artyom0805 [142]
This number would greatly increase, as there are many nations that don't have their own their own country. Some are part of a bigger country (the Tamils in India) and some are distributed among many countries (the Kurds)

Recognizing all those nations could increase some conflicts, such as that between the Kurds and Turkish in Turkey.
I think that a good definition should acknowledge that  some nations have independent states and some are part of another state - the defining characteristics should be a sense of unity among the nation.
