Who did America support during WWI from 1914-17? Why did the U.S. ultimately get involved?
ehidna [41]

Answer:

The US supported the Allies AKA the Triple Entente (Britain, France, Russia)

Explanation:

The US ultimately got involved for a number of reasons but the major one is the sinking of the Lusitania. The Lusitania was a civilian ship sunk by a German U-boat, after news broke out, public opinion turned against Germany and support to join the war increased.
