90 degrees south is a long way! It's close to Antarctica, yet there's no large landmass at this latitude. When we gaze at 30 degrees East (at 90 degrees South), we find ourselves in the waters between Africa and Antarctica, but closer to the latter, hence the answer is Antarctica.
