Like fr schedules, when ______ requirements are thinned gradually over an extended period of time, participants will respond to
vovikov84 [41]

Participants will respond to extraordinarily high ration requirements when reinforcement requirements are thinned gradually over a long period, similar to FR schedules.

What are reinforcement schedule?

The precise rules that are applied to offer (or remove) reinforcers (or punishers) after a specific operant activity are known as schedules of reinforcement. These guidelines are outlined in terms of the duration and/or quantity of replies necessary to provide (or remove) a reinforcer (or a punisher).

What are FR schedules?

Reinforcement is only delivered after a predetermined number of replies under a fixed-ratio schedule (FR schedule) in conditioning. "FR 1" denotes that reinforcement is given following each response; "FR 50" denotes that reinforcement is given following each of the first 50 responses; and so forth.

The corpus luteum in a nonpregnant woman usually lasts about :________
vladimir1956 [14]

The corpus luteum in a non- pregnant woman usually lasts about 10 days after the egg leaves the ovary.

Corpus luteum is inside the ovaries and is shaped like a tiny sac that can hold a developing egg. It is made of two main type of cells, that is, follicuar theca cells and follicuar granulosa cell. A human hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophic [HCG] spurs these cells to make progesterone.

When the egg escapes the dominant follicle during ovulation, the sac breaks. If the egg doesn't get fertilized, corpus luteum will start to break down around 10 days after the egg leaves the ovary. Without the progesterone, your uterus won't go through the changes that support pregnancy and you will shed the lining during periods.
