y = mx + b would be your starting equation. You need two coordinates for to find your slope (mx). You multiple your slope (m) with your x-coordinate given (x). Then after multiplying, you subtract that with y to find your b. Thus, the answer. You'll want to ask yoru teacher for more help if you don't get it. :)
