Note that when dividing, and the base is the same, you can subtract the power signs.
(5^5)/(5^2) = 5^(5 - 2)
5 - 2 = 3
5^3 = a^b
Simplify.
5^3 = 5 x 5 x 5
5 x 5 x 5 = 125
c = 125

No Problem!
5p-14=8p+4
I assume this is the whole problem set up properly, so now, lets subtract the left side by 5p, and then the right side.
-14=3p+4
As you can see, the 5p cancels out on the left side, and the p leftover is what 8p-5p equals.
Now, subtract both sides by 4.
-18=3p
Now, simply divide both sides by 3 to equal
p= -6
The reason we do the divide and multiplying last is because doing it first would only make it much harder.
This is the simplest way I know of to do it. If you don't understand, just ask me.
Hope it helped!
Answer:
x = 25
Step-by-step explanation:
A segment joining the midpoints of 2 sides of a triangle is half the length of the third side, that is
x - 8 = × 34 = 17 ( add 8 to both sides )
x = 25
3.5 / 2 = $1.75
answer is B
cost of one pen: $1.75
