Answer:

13% = 0.13 in decimal form.

Step-by-step explanation:

Percent means 'per 100'. So, 13% means 13 per 100 or simply 13/100.

If you divide 13 by 100, you'll get 0.13 (a decimal number). Read more below on this webpage.

As you can see, to convert from percent to decimal just divide the percent value (13) by 100, and remove the "%" sign.

Split the second term in 5x^2 + 23x + 26 into two terms

5x^2 + 13x + 10x + 26

Factor out common terms in the first two terms, then in the last two terms

x(5x + 13) + 2(5x + 13)

Factor out the common term; 5x + 13

(5x + 13)(x + 2)

three numbers are in an arithmetic progression. Their sum is 3 and the sum of their squares is 11. what are the three numbers
Vlad [161]

The three numbers are 12, 18 and 24

Arithmetic progression

Let the 3 number in arithmetic progression be:

a-d, d, a+d ...

If their sum is 3, then;

a-d+d+a+d = 3

2a + d = 3 ........... 1

If the sum of their squares is 11, then;

(a-d)² + d² + (a+d)² = 11

a²-2ad+d²+d²+a²+2ad+d² 11

2a²+3d² = 11 ....... 2

Solving the equations simultaneously, d = 6 and a = 12

First-term = 12

second term = 18

Thirs term = 24

Hence the three numbers are 12, 18 and 24

Hope this helps you!!!!!! :D

Greatest to least 1/3 1/2 3/4
schepotkina [342]
The answer will be 3/4, 1/2, and 1/3.
The bigger the fraction the smaller it is.
So 3/4 would be first .
The smaller the fraction the bigger it is.
So 1/3 would be last.
So that leaves you with 1/2 so that one would be in the middle of the set.
So the answer would be...:3/4, 1/2, and 1/3.
Hope that helped.
