First of all, hemophilia is an x-linked recessive and recessive disease. So it's a genetic disease.

  • Therefore, there is no possibility of snatching it from his son. It can come from mom or dad. If the mother and father do not have this disease, as in the question, the mother carries this disease recessively. If it was a girl, she would be less likely to get the disease, as she would have to inherit the genotype of this disease from both the mother and the father. however, since her children are boys, she received the disease gene from the mother's recessive gene region. Therefore, the boy has hemophilia in the XhY genotype.

The negative effects of tilling include _____. A increased soil erosion B reduced soil drainage C reduced need for energy input
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

Tilling agitates the topsoil and removes ‘unnecessary’ vegetation so the main crop can grow without competition. Tilling improves soil aeration and drainage for plants to grow well.  Nonetheless, it can lead to other consequences such as soil erosion because it loosens the soil and makes it easy to be carried away by wind and water.

How can gene flow increase genetic variation within two neighboring populations
natali 33 [55]
A population that has been isolated, especially a smaller one, could have a high level of homozygosity and therefore not a lot of genetic variation. Gene flow between such populations can increase the level of heterozygosity, and therefore up genetic variation.

During upwelling, nutrient-rich water rises to the surface. How would this most likely affect the biotic components of the ecosy
hodyreva [135]

Answer: Increase in species numbers and diversity

Explanation:

Upwelling is an oceanographic phenomena in which the water from the bottom layers of the ocean usually above the seafloor get displaced and reach upto the surface layers with the effect of wind currents. The water carries away along with it the nutrients and the organic matter to the surface layers which allows the efficient growth of plant and planktonic diversity which favors the growth of sea animals like fishes and others. Hence, by this way the species diversity and numbers increases by the process of upwelling.
