Many modern and traditional studies in psychology point to 5 basic personality dimensions. Evidence for this theory has grown over the years, with the emergence of the theory of principles in 1949. The five broad personality traits described by the theory are

  • Conscientiousness
  • and Neuroticism.

With this information, we can conclude that personality traits are divided into five areas which are extroversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness and neuroticism.
