Answer:

A) Nighttime was approaching.

Explanation:

Nighttime was insinuated, but not bluntly or plainly shown.  Implicit means "Implied though not plainly expressed."  SO if we look at the passage and the multiple-choice questions we see that B, C, and D, were all plainly expressed.  They were given a signal, as well as were "explicit" because they didn't hide any information.  The only information we have that "nighttime was approaching" would be that the "sky was getting dark."

Write a letter to the editor of a national newspaper complaining about the lack of seriousness in the teacher of your school in
worty [1.4K]
Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority on the lack of seriousness in the teachers regarding teaching. The teachers do not focus on explaining the chapters rather they emphasize students on mugging up things. In my school, XYZ public School, this issue is very common. The parents have already complained to the school authority but the complaint went into vain. I hope that through this piece of work, the issue would be soon looked up and necessary steps would be taken as soon as possible.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Prefix and suffix for prenatal
Xelga [282]
A prefix is added to the beginning of an existing word to creating a new word.
A suffix is added to the end of an existing word in order to create a new word.
The prefix of prenatal would 'pre-' meaning before.
The suffix of prenatal would be '-natal' meaning the time and place of birth.

Hope this helps!
