Answer:

1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

A sample space is a collection or a set of possible outcomes of a random experiment.

I have created the sample space for these data and attached it.  As you can see there are 16 possible outcomes.

To find the probability that the total showing is greater than 9, simply identify the number of values in the sample space that are greater than 9.

(I have highlighted these in yellow).

Therefore, P(X>9) = 8/16 = 1/2

The sample space is

  • {(1,6),(1,7),(1,4),(6,7),(6,4),(7,4)}

Pairs having sum greater than 9 are

  • E=3

So

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow P(E)=\dfrac{3}{6}=1/2

Find the product of 8x93 using distributive property. Show the steps and the solution
lesya692 [45]

Explanation:

Distributive property: → a(b+c)=ab+ac

Multiply by the numbers from left to right.

93*8=744

Then, you can also divide into the numbers.

744/8=93

744/93=8

Product it's going to be multiply by the numbers, fractions, factors, and multiples.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Using the table for many repetitions of the experiment of tossing a coin 10 times, what is the mean number of heads in 50 repeti
PtichkaEL [24]
When there are 1000 repetitions, the mean will be 5.002.

The charts that you have list the number of total heads when you flip the coin 10 times in each trial.

Multiply the total of each by the number number of heads for that category and divide by 1000.

1 x 0
8 x 1
43 x 2
117 x 3
2017 x 4
248 x 5
203 x 6
121 x 7
45 x 8
6 x 9
1 x 10

If you add up those products and divide by 1000, you have 5.002.

Using the law of large numbers, the experiment with 1000 rolls will be the closest to the theoretical amount.
