While we are not exactly sure how fast or how much the Earth's average temperature will rise, we know that: If people keep addin

g greenhouse gases into the atmosphere at the current rate, the average temperature around the world could increase by about 4 to 12°F by the year 2100. If we make big changes, like using more renewable resources instead of fossil fuels, the increase will be less – about 2 to 5°F. —"A Student’s Guide to Global Climate Change," US Environmental Protection Agency What solution does the author offer for reducing greenhouse gases? Greenhouse gases combine more heat into the Earth's atmosphere, which leads to higher average temperatures around the world. It can be decreased by using renewable resources as also mentioned in the question.

Temperatures have risen over the last 30 years, with 2001-2010 being the warmest decade on record. As the earth warms, heat waves are becoming more common in several places, including the United States.

Heatwaves occur when the area becomes very hot for a few days and at night. The choices we make now and in the coming decades will determine how much the planet's temperature will rise. Higher temperatures mean that heatwaves occur more often and are likely to last longer. Heatwaves are dangerous and can cause illnesses such as febrile seizures and heat stroke, or even death.

What is the effect of higher temperature?

High temperatures can also trigger a chain reaction of other changes around the world. Rising temperatures also affect the ocean, weather patterns, snow and ice, and plants and animals. The warmer it is, the more serious the impact on people and the environment.

Thus it conclude that greenhouses gases can be decreased by avoiding an increase in higher temperature.
