<h3>A 5-hour flight takes 65 Gallons</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

2 hours=26 gallons or 2:26

We should simplify the ratio to see how many gallons an hour flight uses.

26÷2=13 or 13 gallons

1 hour=13 gallon

Now we see how much gas a 5-hour flight takes.

5x13=65

5 hours=65 gallons

AVprozaik [17]
Answer: –4rx –15x^2 + 8r + 26x

Step by step:

= 2x + −15x^2 + 24x + −4rx +8r

= (−4rx) + (–15x^2) + (8r) + (2x+ 24x)

= –4rx + –15x^2 + 8r + 26x

How much more would $8,000 earn in four years compounded daily at 5% than compounded annually at 5%?
QveST [7]

Answer:

Given the statement:

8,000 earn in four years compounded daily at 5%

To find the amount we use formula:

A = P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

where P is the principal , A is the amount , n is number of times compounded per year and t is the time in year.

Here, Principal(P) = $8000, r = 5% and n = 365

Substitute these given values we get;

A_1= 8000(1+\frac{5}{365})^{365 \cdot 4}

A_1= 8000 \cdot 1.000137^{1460}

A_1= 8000 \cdot 1.22141

Simplify:

A_1= \$9771.28

To find the Interest we use formula:

I_1= A_1-P

I_1= 9771.28 -8000 = \$1771.28

It is also given that:

8,000 earn in four years compounded annually at 5%.

Here, P = $8000, r = 5% , t =4 year and n = 1

Using the same formula to calculate the amount:

A_2 = 8000(1+\frac{5}{1})^{1 \cdot 4}

A_2= 8000(1.05)^4

Simplify:

A_2= \$9724.05

To find the Interest :

I_2= A_2 - P

I_2= 9724.05 - 8000= \$1724.05

Then;

I_1-I_2 = 1771.28-1724.05 = \$47.23

Therefore, $47.23 more would  $8,000 earn in four years compounded daily at 5% than compounded annually at 5%

(k^4_3_3k^3)+(-5k^3+6k^3_8k^5)
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

Answer:

(k4+3+3k3)+(-5k3+6k3+8k5)

Final result :

 8k5 + k4 + 4k3 + 3

Step by step solution :

Step  1  :

Equation at the end of step  1  :

Step  2  :

Equation at the end of step  2  :

 (((k4)+3)+(3•(k3)))+(((0-(5•(k3)))+(2•3k3))+23k5)

Step  3  :

Equation at the end of step  3  :

 (((k4)+3)+(3•(k3)))+(((0-5k3)+(2•3k3))+23k5)

Step  4  :

Equation at the end of step  4  :

Step  5  :

Checking for a perfect cube :

5.1    8k5+k4+4k3+3  is not a perfect cube

Trying to factor by pulling out :

5.2      Factoring:  8k5+k4+4k3+3

Thoughtfully split the expression at hand into groups, each group having two terms :

Group 1:  k4+3

Group 2:  8k5+4k3

Pull out from each group separately :

Group 1:   (k4+3) • (1)

Group 2:   (2k2+1) • (4k3)

Bad news !! Factoring by pulling out fails :

The groups have no common factor and can not be added up to form a multiplication.

Polynomial Roots Calculator :

5.3    Find roots (zeroes) of :       F(k) = 8k5+k4+4k3+3

Polynomial Roots Calculator is a set of methods aimed at finding values of  k  for which   F(k)=0

Rational Roots Test is one of the above mentioned tools. It would only find Rational Roots that is numbers  k  which can be expressed as the quotient of two integers

The Rational Root Theorem states that if a polynomial zeroes for a rational number  P/Q   then  P  is a factor of the Trailing Constant and  Q  is a factor of the Leading Coefficient

In this case, the Leading Coefficient is  8  and the Trailing Constant is  3.

The factor(s) are:

of the Leading Coefficient :  1,2 ,4 ,8

of the Trailing Constant :  1 ,3

Let us test ....
